(7/22/10) Paint Sedona: A Plein Air Painter's Field Guide to Sedona, Arizona is now available. Click here for details. (6/30/10) Three of Michael's paintings will appear in Lois Griffel's upcoming new book, Painting Impressionist Color. The book is due out in 2010. (6/2/10) Michael has agreed to be the Juror of Selection for the 2011 Pastel Society of New Hampshire National Show. (5/14/10) Michael has a new winter studio, Pumphouse Studio Gallery. This also will serve as a studio space for students for PaintSedona. (Windrush Gallery will continue to represent Michael.) During the summer months, when he's on Campobello Island, Michael will have another artist in-house. This year, Gerry Quotskuyva, a nationally-known Hopi sculptor, will be in the studio. (12/29/09) The Argosy Gallery in Bar Harbor, Maine, has invited Michael to be one of 30 nationally-recognized artists to participate in the 2nd Acadian Invitational Exhibition. (The first was in 2006.) The Exhibition will open August 7, 2010, with a gala reception at the Bar Harbor Inn. Other artists include W. Jason Situ, Elizabeth Tolley and more!
